2019 Healthy Living Fair
Sunday, April 7, we are hosting a beautiful, interfaith event in collaboration with Congregations Shir Hadash and Emeth, Tzu Chi Buddhist Relief Services, and 200 volunteers. It is an effort to provide healthcare for those who ordinarily can’t afford it. Free dental services, Free Eye-Exams and Glasses, Free Hearing Screening, Free Medical Screening! Health Insurance and Nutritional Information also available! First Come- First Serve! Open to the entire St. Mary Parish and surrounding community!

Social Justice
Social justice includes education and promotion of tolerance, freedom, and equality. Our Justice and Family Commission, moderated by Rose Barry, is the face of our parish efforts in this component of parish life.
The commission is made up of four committees.
Immigration
Parish Immigration events: workshops on drivers license preparation, executive order preventing deportation, refugee foster care, National Justice for Immigrants voting drives.
Families in Crisis
Bridge families breaking down cultural boundaries, two families at a time Gilroy Resource Guide directs families to the services they need, such as food, counseling, medical and housing help
Building a support group for disabled parishioners
Respect Life
Promotes participation in Walk for Life, 40 Days of Prayer for Life, support for Informed Choices pregnancy counseling
Grief
Workshops on end of life decisions and funeral planning. Developing a grief support group.
